Prior to finding Path to Anandam, Satya Kalra has been through many facets in her life. She has been a veteran in the biotech industry for 35 years serving as a visionary, entrepreneur, scientist, founder, CEO, president and chairperson, a dedicated mother to three beautiful children, a responsible wife and a committed social worker.
Satya was born in India to a very spiritual businessman father and a homemaker mother who was an extremely wise woman and a counselor to the community she lived in. Satya came to America in 1969 with her husband Krishan Kalra to pursue higher education.
Having already done her masters in organic chemistry from Gwalior, India, she received yet another masters in biochemistry from the University of Illinois. She also did her business management and marketing education from the University of Berkeley, USA.
An energetic and lively person, Satya has served as a Committee Co-Chairperson of The Gita Conference on "Reconnecting Spirituality and Technology”, held at Stanford University in 1998. She has been noted for her community contributions to several organizations, associations. She has also worked for the cause of destitute women and children.
She is also a chief coordinator in USA for the international Divine Shakti Foundation (Founded and Inspired by Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, President/Spiritual Head of Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Rishikesh, India and Founder/Chairman of India Heritage Research Foundation)
Satya has been practicing meditation since 1977 and studying the
Bhagvad Geeta since 1990. For more than fifteen years, she has been engaged in teaching and promoting the awareness of spirituality and the effulgent wisdom of
Geeta, and its applications in daily life, family, business and community matters. She has been a guest speaker of diverse topics at various spiritual gatherings, temples, spiritual conferences and business forums.
With the grace of the Supreme Power, meditation and the help of her Inner-Self, over a period of time she has developed a simple 7-step method for Self-Realization, a series of simple techniques of Anandam meditation and other spiritual practices for the body, mind and spirit.
She uses her practice of
Anandam Meditation in personal consultations to guide individuals striving for excellence and to help them live to their full potential.
A few years ago, with the blessing of the Higher-Self, the divine calling came to her and she decided to quit her job as a CEO and devote her full time for the service of humanity and divinity.
Today, Satya spends most of her time in the company of saints and seers, motivating and uplifting others, propagating spirituality and doing pilgrimage.
Satya has published several spiritual
books and many spiritual
articles.
