A Very Happy Mother’s day

May 12th, 2012 Posted in Greeting

“Mother’s Day is the day to appreciate all the good things your mother has done for you. It is also the time to offer her your forgiveness for mistakes
she might have made while raising you.”

Mother’s Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May. It was first introduced in 1908 by Anna Jarvis from West Virginia, as a day to honor one’s mother. In 1914, it was made an official national holiday by US President Woodrow Wilson.

Mother is a very special person. Any day of the year is a great day to tell Mom how much you love her!

M-O-T-H-E-R is made of:

M = Mentor: Never give up
O = Ocean of unconditional love and compassion
T = Teacher (first guru): Taught me million lessons
H = Heart as pure as 24 carat gold
E = Endurance: With tears or smile
R = Reliable: I can count on her

A mother is a mother and always be a mother; and always be there for you (24/7). Her blessings will always be with you …

A mother’s love is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking, it never fails or falters, even though the heart is breaking.

“No gift to your mother can ever equal her gift to you – life.”

There is nothing greater than mothers love. Mother’s words are always sweet. At times she may use harsh words, but they are meant only to correct you, not to hurt you.Shri Sathya Sai Baba
